About Coach

I've always enjoyed health and fitness pursuits from my teens to the present day. My journey began with attending traditional gyms and martial arts; however, back in 2018, I discovered CrossFit, and I immediately connected with its energy, positivity, community, and the sense of achievement. Alongside my passion for CrossFit, I enjoy the outdoors and being amongst nature. I have surfed for many years, love kayaking, climbing, coasteering, and hiking. CrossFit not only allows me to compete in competitions and is a sport in its own right, but it also builds a level of fitness, discipline, and endurance that transfers into other areas of my life. For me, CrossFit is more than just 'a gym' or 'exercise', but something which has contributed to an overall positive well-being.

Turning Point

Turning points in my life have been around conquering mental health struggles, such as anxiety. The fear that comes with anxiety can be extremely powerful and affect all areas of life. Through understanding the nature of anxiety, the vicious circle and the interplay of thoughts and behaviour and their impact on emotions and physical sensations I have found that fitness, more specifically Crossfit has had such a positive impact and through movement, physical achievement, learning new skills, challenging myself and feeling a sense of community I have lived experience that it has a real positive impact on mental health and has provided me with more than just fitness, but a sense of self, a wellness that runs deeper than physical or mental health, and has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and into a much richer life.

Motivation & Passion

My passion for coaching is and always will be to help and support people to achieve their full potential, to accomplish goals, and work with individuals to bring about positive change in their lives. Coaching is more than fitness; it's passion, connection, approachability, professionalism, communication, and working towards a real sense of overall well-being. It's giving people the tools to overcome obstacles, maintain balance, and strive for greatness.
